Sana’a, Yemen — The Support Yemeni Society Organization (SYS) is proud to announce the continuation of its humanitarian project, “Rehabilitate 150 Poor Street Children in Yemen,” now entering its fourth year. This initiative aims to uplift the lives of vulnerable street children by providing them with essential support and rehabilitation services.
The project focuses on reintegrating these children into society through education, vocational training, and psychological counseling. SYS has partnered with local communities and organizations to create safe spaces where children can receive care, support, and guidance.
Over the past three years, SYS reports significant progress, having successfully rehabilitated many children, helping them secure stable housing and access to education. The ongoing conflict and economic challenges in Yemen make this work increasingly vital, as many children face dire circumstances on the streets.
SYS is appealing for increased support from local and international donors to expand the program, ensuring that all 150 targeted children receive the help they need to rebuild their lives and secure a brighter future.
