In a country exhausted by war and poverty, there are children silently fighting a different battle—one against a disease that knows no mercy: leukemia.
Support Yemeni Society (SYS) extends a hand to these children, offering not just treatment, but a chance at life and hope.
Why This Project?
Leukemia doesn’t wait, and in Yemen, access to treatment is a rare privilege. Children face this illness with fragile bodies, while families struggle to afford even the most basic care.
This project was born not just to provide medical aid, but to support these children and their families during the darkest times.
Project Objectives
Provide integrated medical care to children diagnosed with leukemia.
Supply medications and essential treatment materials that are no longer easily available.
Offer psychosocial support for both the child and their family.
Support local health institutions in delivering better care.
How We Work
We cover part of the essential treatment costs for the selected children.
We provide medications and medical supplies as funding allows.
We offer emotional and social support to relieve the burden of illness.
We coordinate with medical staff to ensure the most effective use of resources.
Target Group
This project targets a limited number of leukemia-affected children in Sana’a, whose families are unable to access or afford proper medical treatment due to ongoing crises.
Expected Impact
Each contribution brings a child closer to healing. We may not promise to reach everyone, but we commit to not giving up on those we can reach.
We walk beside them, step by step, toward a chance at life.
A Message to You
We may not be able to save everyone, but we can begin with one.
Every donation—big or small—makes a difference.
Be part of planting hope. Be the strength behind a child’s quiet fight.
